The 2025 -’26 SICYO basketball tryouts will be held on Sept. 20th & 21st for the 4th, 6th, & 8th grade boys and the 5th & 7th grade girls. Tryouts will also be held on and Oct. 11th & 12th for the 4th, 6th, & 8th grade girls and the 5th & 7th grade boys. Participants should make every effort to attend their scheduled tryout. If a participant can’t attend the scheduled grade level tryout, then s/he must tryout during the hour of the grade level above. If a participant does not tryout, s/he will NOT be placed on a team. Any player deemed to be an ‘A’ player by the evaluating crew will not be allowed to play on a ‘B’ team. This conforms with the CYO rules and regulations. Please make sure that you have registered and paid online at our website www.SICYO.com before attending the tryouts. After the tryouts, the players will be placed on teams and practices will begin in early November 2024 and the season will last until mid-March. Participants can plan on two practices per week and one game on each weekend once the regular season begins in January 2026.

St. Isabella CYO Basketball
St. Isabella Parish CYO's mission is to provide a parish and community based athletic program that encourages the participation of all young people and fosters the development of the Christian values of team spirit, good sportsmanship and fair play. By providing the best possible atmosphere for athletic competition, St. Isabella Parish CYO will provide each participant the opportunity to build self-esteem, self-improvement, self-discipline and enjoyment. We stress the fun of learning, developing new skills while playing together in a fun team atmosphere. You will have the opportunity to meet children throughout the parish. We encourage our coaches to teach the game of basketball in an enjoyable harassment-free environment, and in turn give our children a love for the game, respect for themselves, their teammates and opponents.
Eligibility for participation in CYO is based on your geographical location and tied to the parish within your area.
St. Isabella CYO is open to people meeting any of the following criteria:
- St. Isabella parishioner
- Attends St. Isabella school
- Lives either in the 94903 zip code or in Venetia Valley.
